Rage of the Winter map

“Rage of Winter” is a Large 1v2 HotA snow-themed Tower-only map, best suited for single-player. The map is fully functional and I think it is fun and challenging to play, especially if you like the snow theme and the Tower faction than this is for you.

Heroes of Might & Magic III: Arabian Nights concept

Back in 2000 when I was a teen, together with a good friend of mine we put our minds together in order to design a new faction for Heroes 3, called The Oasis, and of course, everything was inspired by the “One Thousand and One Nights” theme. We only worked on this on paper, trying to guess what would be a balanced faction but we never tested it because we did not have the capabilities to mod the game back then. We did try to reach a few devs by email but, of course, no one replied.
We were really happy to come up with hero specialties like Sultan (Might) and Caliph (Magic), or being able to recruit legendary heroes like Sinbad (specialty Navigation), Aladdin (specialty Genies), or Scheherazade (specialty Hypnotize). It was just a fun and creative exercise for us, don’t expect accurate numbers there. I am sure there are plenty of mistakes and probably the whole faction is unbalanced, also not every aspect of this Oasis faction is thought over but anyway, I am going to link the document here, if anyone wants to put this into the game, feel free to do it.
